With 29 years experience in title and mortgage closings, commercial and home loans. Glenda has worked in many roles in title, from abstract location and openings file to title closer.

Glenda has a mini-MBA in faith based organizations from the University of St Thomas. She is a graduate of the Women in Leadership program at North Hennepin Community College. She also has a management certificate and communication certificate from the same school.

“I have worked in many roles at title companies in the past, from “bursting” commitments on a impact printer in the early 90s to abstract location, opening orders, and as a closing assistant in new construction, real estate and mortgage closings. There was no diversity in buyers in spite of processed up to 200 files a month. Rarely was there a person of color coming to close. After years as an assistant, I asked to be trained in closing and was told there was no room to teach me. While my non-African American cohorts were trained to close as I watched.

My passion is to sit at the table with people of all races with an emphasis on people of color. Striving to handle their closing with professionalism, sensitivity, knowledge, and an understanding of the journey. Many times I am working with first generation homeowners and it brings unmeasurable joy to help with the transition from renter to homeowner. I have witnessed inconsideration in the excitement, joy, and nervousness of this step into homeownership and vow to make a difference and bring a difference to the table.

​A long term goal is to offer people of color my knowledge and train them in closing and title. I don’t want anyone else to hear “we don’t have any room to teach you”.
